Head of Learning & Transformation

  • Remote
    • Europe Timezone

Job description

At Saga, we're building the intelligence that helps lawyers think faster, work smarter, and stay in control of their craft. Our AI platform optimises legal workflows and enables lawyers to focus on what matters the most - people, ethics, and impact.

We sit at the intersection of human expertise and machine intelligence, changing not just how lawyers work, but what they can achieve. To adopt our AI at scale, lawyers need to transform the way they work, not just learn a new tool. We’re hiring a Head of Learning & Transformation to guide that change with clarity and care.

Your role as Head of Learning & Transformation

In this visible and high-impact role, you will shape the learning and adoption layer that determines how lawyers across the globe will work with AI. You will build and lead Saga Amplify, starting with a team of three, and create programmes that go far beyond traditional training. You will translate complex technology and legal workflows into clear, intuitive learning experiences that people actually understand and use. You bring structure where things are still chaotic and make change feel human, practical and achievable. You craft the ecosystem where learning shapes product and behaviour.

We're in full builder mode. The function is new, the methods are being created, and every client teaches us something that shapes what we build next. You shift fluidly between strategy and execution. One moment you are designing a full learning journey for an international law firm, the next you are working with our engineers to shape an in-product learning experience that feels effortless. You work closely with Saga Platform and Saga Lab to make sure everything you build aligns with how lawyers think and how our technology behaves. You understand how professionals learn, where resistance comes from, and how to move people into a new way of working. Change management is not a side task in this role. It is the core.

Job requirements

What you bring to our team

You're a builder who understands how people learn and change. You turn complexity into clarity and move fluidly between strategy and execution. You care about impact, not theory. You understand legal work, AI, and the human side of transformation, or you learn fast enough to bridge all three.

You also bring:

  • A track record of designing learning or transformation programmes that drive measurable adoption and business impact, not just one-off training sessions

  • Advanced AI fluency: you use AI tools daily to design programs, analyze data, and build learning experiences. You can prototype workflows, chain tools together, and explain complex capabilities in human terms. You're comfortable working alongside engineers to shape how AI features are introduced to users

  • Experience building scalable methods, frameworks or learning journeys that can be deployed across different regions, client types and contexts

  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders (partners, GCs, C-level) and the ability to navigate resistance to change

  • Strong communication skills: clear, calm, structured and human

  • The ability to operate strategically and tactically. You design, build and deliver

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Why join Saga Legal

We're not talking about another L&D role. At Saga, you build the layer that makes AI adoption possible and meaningful. You work with people who care deeply about the craft of law, the power of technology and the human side of change. You will help shape how an entire industry learns, evolves and works. We also offer:

  • Competitive base salary and additional benefits

  • A chance to build the learning foundation for one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies serving clients globally

  • Autonomy to build and experiment, with direct impact on company strategy and client success

  • 20 paid vacation days, 8% holiday allowance and a budget for conferences, courses, and certifications

  • Remote-first culture with connection hubs in Amsterdam and Oslo

  • A team that moves fast, thinks clearly, and builds with care

If all this sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
